The style seems an artistic noodling around within the mod notions of the 1960s mixed with a Western flair. Definitely borrowing from some Native American designs, but aiming toward pop-art concepts. And there is a fun little carrying groove on the back of each chair! The condition of the paint is in fair to poor shape. They look good, but have noticeable use and wear markings. Structurally, the two chairs on picture-left are usable as is; the two on the right need some repair, and should not be assumed to be sound. Price is for all chairs together as a lot (NOT each). Style marking #391. No name branding on the chairs, but likely from Gardner, MA, during it’s chair making heyday. Dimensions: Overall chair dimensions: 38" tall x 14" wide x 17" deep The seat is 17-1/4" from the floor and 16" wide x 14" deep. The back is 20" from the seat to the top and 14" wide.
