Description: Vietnam Era US Army M1967 Nylon 20rd Rifle Ammunition Pouch Set - 1st Pattern - Contract Dated 1968 - NICE Condition - RARE Up for sale is a Vietnam Era US Army M1967 Nylon 20rd Rifle Magazine Pouch. It is the 1st Pattern Nylon pouch for the 20rd Magazines. The pouch has the internal strap and both grenade straps. The long suspender strap is present. It has the alice clips on the back. No rips or tears. Some minor soiling from storage and prior handling. The US markings on the front are no longer visible. The contract markings under the flap are present, but are very faint. They appear to show a 1968 contact date. Please see photos for details and condition. This offering is for the two magazine pouches ONLY. The magazines are NOT included in the listing. They are for illustration purposes ONLY. The 1st pattern rifle ammunition case was produced in nylon rather than cotton and featured a plastic spring catch fastener. Like its predecessor it was designed to accommodate four 20-round magazines for the Colt Rifle. The pouch attached to the pistol belt via two slide keepers and had a supporting strap that clipped to the metal loop on the suspenders.
