Description: ** If you visited this listing before, you may know that originally I only had one panel. I was digging around looking for something else in a storage tub and found the second panel. This certainly improves this item as you can now use the fabric as curtains. They most certainly hung in a little boy's bedroom in the 1950s. The print features an artfully rendered pattern of famous United States railroad engines and logos. Someone who collects railroad memorabilia needs to have these curtains! There are engines and logos from the Reading Line, the Great Northern Railroad, the Santa Fe Railroad, the Union Pacific Railroad, the Chicago & East Illinois Railroad, the Rock Island Line and the Milwaukee Road. The only two of those that are still in existence are freight versions of Union Pacific and the Reading lines. That's some real railroad history. The fabric is of medium weight and slightly nubby. It's not bark cloth. I tried to get pictures of some areas where it looks like it might have been in the laundry basket with something blue and damp years ago as there are some pale blue shady areas. It's hard to see it in the photographs because it's pretty faint.
