Description: USAF Titan II Missile Silo Rebar Piece - 1960's - Cold War - Site 571-3 This rebar is from a real Titan II missile silo located just east of Tucson, Arizona at site 571-3. Our family purchased the decommissioned missile silo about 5 years ago and have been repurposing the inside of the Launch Control Center and the 13 acres it is located on. Our progress is covered on our YouTube channel "Atomic Rancher" if you'd like to see what we've been up to. These pieces of rebar were once part of the upper 25' of the missile silo but in 1983, this silo was blown up in accordance with the SALT treaties with Russia. After the top of the missile silo was blown up, the rebar and debris was bulldozed into the blast hole. We have since excavated the area and have found large pieces of rebar ranging from 1.5" to 3". These pieces can be cut to whatever length you prefer, just send me a message and I can cut it. I also stamp them with "Titan II" and "USAF". If you would like a different word or short phrase stamped, please send me a message. The pieces advertised in this posting are cut to about 1 inch thick and the diameter is 1.5 inches. Thanks!
