Description: Offered here is a beautiful and impressive challenge coin that commemorates the A-7 era for the World Famous Golden Dragons of VA-192. The squadron flew the A-7 Corsair II from 1970 until 1986 from NAS Lemoore. The coin is an impressive 2" wide, and 3mm thick, cast in gold-tone metal with great colors and texture. One side of the coin features the squadron's insignia, along with the silhouette of two A-7s. The other side of the coin features the a squadron aircraft dropping bombs, the insignia for the A-7, and the squadron motto, "SSHWFGD!" If you know, you know. Both sides of the coin are framed by a gold-tone rope border. They would make a wonderful gift for anyone who served with VA-192, or would make a great addition to any collection.
