It has a 4 cup maximum capacity. This is the newly designed French press from Le Creuset. The most notable changes are the three rings with "Le Creuset" at the base of the press and the stainless steel knob changed from a round ball to this flat top shape with "Le Creuset" engraved at the top---Beautiful details! The color is "Vapeur," which is a solid color. PLEASE NOTE: Vapeur is a very, very light shade of GRAY... it is *NOT* White. My lighting isn't the best (sorry), but look at Picture #8 which shows this Vapeur French press next to my White Le Creuset crock for perspective.
