This unique design is a vintage AM radio in the style of a FADA radio, model 220, which was manufactured in Long Island City, NY circa 1942. I cannot verify that it is an original FADA radio since it bears no FADA markings, however it is vintage from that period and resembles the FADA model 220. The case has been refurbished and the dial lens replaced. The AM band works perfectly, although I was not able to pick up any shortwave stations since I don’t have a shortwave antenna. The case, the dial, the knobs are all in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains. This is a beautiful example of a post-war radio.
