Description: This is a Tibor Reich Original linen, fully lined, Made in England, called Atournament. It was made in 1967. It is Design #322A by TIBOR, Screen Printed on Mercerized Cotton. The method of sewing was called Serge Sewn with Horizontal Edges. It measures 46” x 23” and is in excellent condition. There is just one slight spot, but it’s on the back and I have not tried to clean it, as it doesn’t show. "This design is part of the textiles commissioned for the Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford on Avon by the Shakespeare Trust to commemorate Shakespeare's quatercentenary (400 years after Shakspeare). This screen printed design on mercerized cotton fabric was one of several produced by Tibor Reich and depicts a tournament scene with knights on horseback.
