Description: This is a tough one to list. It was my Grandfather who passed in 1970. He could sure play it but mostly the shorter ones. He learned to play in the Hills of Eastern KY. One of 7 children. His father died young & his mother remarried a man that had kids & didn't want hers & they were all shipped to The Odd Fellows Home Orphanage. He was the oldest at 13 down 2 years. He said he learned to play there to play for his siblings there & slowly one at a time from the youngest up they would not be there anymore. He aged out at 18 moved to Louisville Ky & made a life. His 2 younger brothers he kept in contact with & they also moved here. The others were never able to be found & they tried. Nowadays he could have found them... I believe every old item has someone's story. I just happened to know this one. So for the Harmonica I snagged at 10 because I didn't want it going to trash or being sold but I'm 56 & my kids will not care about this when I'm gone. So someone should enjoy it.
