Description: Set of 4 Vintage glasses celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Citgo sign over Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. RARE, Extremely Collectible Glass Tumbler celebrating the 50th Anniversary of BOSTON RED SOX / FENWAY PARK / CITGO partnership Issued in 1990 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the world-famous CITGO sign, erected in KENMORE SQUARE in 1940. Tumblers are 4 1/4" tall and 3 1/4" diameter. Made from GLASS, not plastic, incorporates a quality full-color screen print, depicting FENWAY PARK and the iconic CITGO sign in left field, and the other side showing the BOSTON RED SOX & CITGO "trimark" logo, "50 Years Together in Kenmore Square.” A highly prized collectible and piece of nostaliga for any Boston Red Sox fan, Citgo Gas collector, or any Boston resident, who is no doubt familiar with the Red Sox and the huge Citgo lighted sign. The sign is clearly featured at every Red Sox Game and is located around the 20th mile of the Boston Marathon. Front of glass shows the infield of Fenway with Citgo sign over center field.
