Description: Vintage '70s Couture Fall Shirt Dress Wool? Paisley Boho Preppy sz Med? Gorgeous and uncommon warm dress, fully lined. It has no tags whatsoever but the high quality of fabrics and outstanding execution suggest either a designer or a high-end bespoke / made to order piece. Examples: the collar was cut so that the fabric stripes naturally create a beautifully finished trim; a delicate system to secure the bra straps (see pic #10); exquisitely finished hems.The exterior fabric is textured, fuzzy, soft, warm and wool-like (though it could be a synthetic or blend), woven in a very interesting manner, whereby the stripes are a different pattern than the areas with the paisley-like design. What comes across as a dark orange color is actually a tomato red - the pics that relay that the closest are #2 (collar close-up) and #5 (the side view).The lining is a very fine and delicate fabric, still in great condition. This dress is very clean.The buttons do not go all the way down. If so preferred, this dress could be taken to a good seamstress who could cut it right below the buttons and turn it into a stunning jacket.3/4 sleeves. Dress weighs approximately 1lb 8oz. We are quite certain that this dress was not meant to be worn with a belt.We estimated this to be a size Medium, mostly due to the shoulders' size. However, the fit of a piece like this is likely a matter of personal preference.
