Description: Vintage ARNE JOHANSEN AJ Sterling Silver Open HEART PENDANT Modernist Denmark This open heart pendant is by renowned Danish designer Arne Johansen, a master of Modernist design. The pendant is cast in sterling silver and is clean, simple and un-fussy. The heart is thick and study with a weight of 3.9 grams and is ever so slightly curved on the front. It has a warm patina with some expected, age related surface scratches to the smooth silver. The scratches show up more prominently in the pictures due to the camera flash.The heart measures 1-1/8 inch side to side and hangs 13/16 inch including the bail at the top.The opening of the elongated bail measures about 3 mm x 6 mm. Stamped on the reverse AJ 925 S DENMARK. This beautiful, simple heart by Arne Johansen would make a wonderful gift for a loved one or simply for yourself.
