Description: Beautiful Chinese silk embroidery and wooden frame decorated with metal. It is one of the four famous embroideries in China. Suzhou embroidery, called Su Xiu(蘇繡), is made in Suzhou, southern China. It features a beautiful pattern, elegant colors, and exquisite handcraft. A bird stands on a plum tree branch with bamboo underneath. All using 100% silk thread and silk fabric. Dated around 1970s. The condition of the embroidery is excellent. A little wear on the four corners of the frame. It measures approximately 13” x 13” (frame size ). Embroidery diameter 9”. Note: Please ask all pertinent question in advance of purchase so as to avoid misunderstanding.
