VINTAGE EAMES CHAIRS HERMAN MILLER 50s 60s DSW MIDCENTURY IMPERFECTIONS #4365 Click images to enlarge Description Set of 4 DSW side chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames and made by Herman Miller in the late 50s/early 60s. Original fibreglass shells mounted on shockmounts with used wooden bases. Colours (left to right) are: dark ochre, navy blue, light ochre and seafoam green The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully. All with original Herman Miller stamp. Mounted on dowel bases. These are grade B seconds with slight flaws to the shells so that they don't meet the grade of the high standard chairs we sell. Nonetheless, they are perfectly useable and sound and are priced accordingly. Please see photos for specific details as to condition. In particular: dark ochre - slight cosmetic chip on the righthand side. navy blue - discolouration on seat light ochre - small chip on side seafoam- small chip on side Payment Payment is due within 7 days of auction.
