THE CLOCK AND WATCH STORE Click images to enlarge Description Maker: Hamilton Watch Company c.1969-1970 Model: reference # 11002-3 Condition: This listing is for a vintage Hamilton Chrono-matic chronograph wristwatch that has been cleaned and serviced. Having just released a re-issue for this iconic watch, it doesn't come close to the amazing watch the original is. This is the real deal! It is a 17 jewel caliber 11 automatic 2 register chronograph movement that has been freshly serviced and ready to wear. Everything appears original to this watch with exception to the NOS rubber strap mounted on it. The crystal has some light scratches here and there throughout but is clean and clear, no need for a replacement. The dial shows some wear throughout but most of its coloration and time tracks are nice and clean, very legible. The hands show the most wear having some of the painted finishes flaking off and the minute register hand, the finish is completely gone. It actually looks fine and you probably wouldn't notice it at first glance. It has the original signed crown as shown. The stainless steel case has scratches throughout but overall, a decent looking case that looks like it has been worn and not sitting in a safe its entire life. The lugs are 19mm and all I had was an 18mm NOS rubber silicone strap and also included a slightly larger NOS blue leather strap as a bonus. The last 2 pictures show the chrono fuction running well past 30 minutes so you can see the register start, stop and reset to zero as they should. This is a vintage watch, not perfect and can be stubborn at times. I noticed when resetting to zero from various positions, occationally it doesn't go back to zero on all registers. Simple fix, start, let run 15 seconds, stop and reset, problem solved. It only happened to me twice out of about 15 x's so, its not a problem, its just a mechanical device. I take great care in packaging all the items being sold but, I especially take extra precautions when packing clocks. I do everything I can to prevent your clock arriving damaged.
