Vintage HEARTH SONG "TREE-IN-THE-FOREST" HAND PUPPETS w/Original Bag HEARTHSONG

Description: THANKS for visiting my Sale Listing !! You are considering PURCHASING ONE VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE PRE-OWNED(?) "HEARTH SONG" "TREE-IN-THE-FOREST" PUPPET SET as shown.... This item belonged to my sister. I inherited it from her. It looks to me that she bought this great puppet set and never used it as the four finger puppets and one hand puppet are still attached to the long, original storage bag with its plastic tags still attached - as shown. The EAGLE NEST containing three baby eaglets - is ALSO attached/held with its original tag. The small, sewn in, cloth, white tag on the storage bag says "HEARTH SONG 1999"........etc. etc.....See photo. No other "cloth" tags present. This "TREE-IN-THE-FOREST"set includes the following: - FIVE - SUPER SOFT/VELVET - PUPPETS still attached (w/Plastic tags) to the custom made, BROWN, cloth storage bag as shown. FOUR finger puppets - Eagle - Squirrel - Owl - and Raccoon. There is ONE - LARGER - Hand - puppet - Light Brown Bear - as shown. FIVE PUPPETS attached to the storage bag. I'm quite certain that all of these finger puppets and the one BEAR hand puppet relate to those animals that would/could LIVE IN THIS incredible "puppet" tree. - ONE - 28" Tall - SOFT VELVET/CLOTH "TREE"- with GREEN BRANCHES and great looking "bark". It will have attached (with its original plastic tag) - on top - ONE - Removable - "EAGLE NEST" showing THREE hungry baby eaglets - See photo. All Plastic "tag(s)" can of course, be clipped and the NEST easily removed from top of tree. There is a ONE, LONG, wooden dowel that is located inside the tree "TRUNK" of the "TREE". It runs all the way to the TOP!!! It is obviously used to hold the "tree" up and at the same time manipulate the various hand/finger puppets out of the circular "window" that is cutout/constructed on the one side of the trunk of the tree about 10" from the bottom. When you place a finger/hand puppet on your hand and slip on the TREE - your fitted hand inside the tree stabilizes the tree so it stays up and you can then manipulate the puppets out of the hole. The "TREE" WITH the hole becomes a "stage" - "FOREST THEATER" - for your puppets to perform out of. This all makes a very CLEVER/CREATIVE - puppet presentation. - You will receive - ONE - LARGE - BROWN - QUILTED - CLOTH - STORAGE Bag to hold everything described. It has a nylon, loop handle on it to facilitate carrying. The approximate measurements of this cute, quilted, custom made, zippered, storage bag is 29" long by 10". The bag is QUILTED like bark on the TREE puppet. All of the above fits NEATLY into its custom made, quilted, zippered, storage bag. I was unable to find this FANTASTIC "TREE-IN-THE-FOREST" PUPPET SET in the HEARTH SONG Catalog or on its WEB SITE anywhere. It is about 14 years old so I assume that HEARTH SONG doesn't produce/mfg this wonderful product any longer......? One page - double sided - description sheet from HEARTHSONG included - as shown.
