THE CLOCK AND WATCH STORE Click images to enlarge Description Maker: Kent Watch Company c.1960's Model: Regatta Chronograph Description: This is a vintage Kent regatta 2 register chronograph wristwatch with a hand winding 17 jewel Valjoux 7733 in a 10 micron yellow gold filled case coming to you for restoration. The watch is currently running and keeping time however, it is being sold as a non-running watch due to the unknown. I purchased this about 2 years ago hoping to service it and wear it, but that day never came. The chronograph starts, stops and resets to zero like it should when it was bench tested. The crown and pushers show wear and the crown is a little hard to grip when winding. The dial and handset are amazing and show almost no wear at all. The acrylic crystal has scratches throughout and should polish up nicely as nothing looks too deep. The case has a couple wear through spots on the bottom side where it makes contact with the wrist. There is also wear on the lugs and bezel where it makes contact with the sleeve. It will make a nice watch or could be recased to be a spectacular watch! I have been on a buying spree and some unexpected events popped up, causing me to do a catch and release on some fine watches I was hoping to restore over the next few years.
