Description: Vintage LP: Ave Maria, Gregorian Chants - The Benedictine Monks of Clervaux - Netherlands Pressing Comments: The record has been cleaned and fully play tested. The original copyright date on the music is much earlier, but this Dutch pressing was likely issued around 1980. Visual Record Condition: The vinyl is in glossy VG+ condition with just a few surface scuffs. There is a light mark at the same spot on the outer edge of both sides. I thought it was something that could be cleaned off. Cleaning attempts failed though, so I guess the marks are light scuffs. It's nothing horrible, but I provided detail photos of those because I think they are the source of some light ticks heard near the start of each side. This is, however, a generally very good looking record. Record Labels Condition: The record labels look great. Record Condition For The Ears: General background record surface noise is minimal. As mentioned above, some tolerable light ticks are heard for a short time - mostly near the beginnings of each side - more so on Side 2 than on Side 1. I didn't find this particularly bothersome and most of the record is unaffected. The beautiful music recreated from this record provides a very satisfying, enjoyable listening experience. There were no skips or sticks, of course. Jacket Type and Condition: The lighter-weight jacket is in VG condition. It is quite glossy and clean. General wear is very light. There is tape on parts of both the top and bottom seams. There are a few little surface crease squiggles at edges. There is some writing on the back side. The text on the spine looks good. That "Imported Pressing" message on the cover is on a sticker. The album has been placed in a brand new, protective poly outer sleeve to help prevent further wear. Inner Sleeve Type and Condition: The inner sleeve is a new, white, paper replacement. Shipping Notes: Several different shipping service options are available for you to choose from at check-out.
