Description: Vintage Mido Ocean Star Powerwind, Cal. 1137 OC (AS 1716), 17 Jewels Automatic, Circa 1960’s, Working. The gold plated monocase is in very good condition with some minor plating loss by the crown and measures 35.35mm from lug to lug and 32.90mm not including the crown. The watch gets serviced from the top. The crown has a two part stem, male and female, and when changing the time, please pull the crown gently so that the two parts don’t separate. Between the lower lugs is stamped Gold Electro Plated 0015 m, Mido. Inside caseback is stamped: Mido Limited, Switzerland, Vacuum and the serial # 346175. The outside of the caseback is stamped with the serial # 3042978. The dial, gold hour markers and hands, and all lettering are in excellent condition. The crystal is like new. The brown Water Buffalo leather band is NOS. This is a vintage watch without service records. I cannot guarantee the accuracy, longevity or waterproofing and should be serviced by a competent watchmaker.
