Description: This is a vintage Robeson fixed blade knife with stacked leather handles. This is a particularly valuable and interesting piece since it is stamped ‘Shuredge’ just below the Robeson stamp. You can see from a little research that this tang was used during the 1940 to 1964 timeframe (even earlier than that) and this piece definitely looks older. The knife is in overall good condition and the handle wrapping is tight with no loose braids. The metal butt piece has a little looseness, but not much. No major chips or cracks anywhere and the blade edge is in good shape. There are also some scratches, minor pitting, and discoloration on the blade like you might expect from a vintage piece.
