Description: An early Robinsom Ransbottom "Oscar" Salvation Army cookie jar with a brown colored Dough Boy lid with US on the front of it. This is probably from the 1940's It is round and roughly 8 inches in diameter at its fattest part. It also stands about 8.5" tall with the lid. This is in great condition. There are normal wear and use marks, typical with something of this age. There are a couple of minor chips on the outside of the lid. I took a close up photo of that. These are somewhat rare. You don't see too many of them up for sale, we ended up with 3 of these from an estate sale cookie jar collection. Packaged carefully and shipped via USPS Priority or Ground.
