Description: Here's a 1930's vintage 'Balanced Tone' model Bb Boehm clarinet by Selmer of Paris. The instrument is made of grenadilla wood with nickel alloy keys, posts and rings, and a large bore of .585". All pieces are original, no cracks or repairs. It was overhauled a couple of years back for a customer who is now thinning the heard: disassembled, soaked in oil, the mechanism swedged and countersunk, body, keys, rings, and posts buffed, white leather pads and corks installed. This pro grade clarinet is in good shape for its years and plays with a warm, open tone, good intonation. Comes with vintage case in clean, solid condition.
