Vintage Smith Glass Carnival Glass Basket NOS Quintec White/Clear W/Handle

Description: This beautiful L. E. Smith Glass white carnival glass basket in the Quintec pattern is 8" tall including the handle and 7" wide at the widest point. The iridescent colors create a shimmering visual and are absolutely stunning. Smith Glass acquired this pattern in the 1950s and continued production through the 1980s. The pattern includes the stars and panel design. The basket has a very nice applied glass handle. The bottom of the basket has a Capitol S which is the mark for Smith Glass. The basket is in excellent condition and comes in the original box. I purchased it from an estate sale. There I was told it was a gift, and was only removed from the box initially and it was then put back in the box ‘to keep for good’!
