Description: Vintage Wards Airline Model 64WG-1511 Bakelite AM radio that has been restored and is in good working condition. Bad capacitors were replaced and the radio is able to receive stations on the AM band with minimal background noise once the tubes warm up. Both knobs turn smoothly and properly and the dial indicator functions properly as well. The power cord is also new and in excellent condition. The bakelite body had a crack on the lower left front near the knobs that was repaired and the radio was repainted to match the original white color. The repair is difficult to see straight on and extremely difficult to detect from a distance of 2 feet or more. Grill cloth has some minor discolorations, but is in very good condition, with rips or holes. Great looking radio that will be a fine addition to your collection.
