Description: Up for sale is a very nicely restored Macintosh Quadra 800. The case itself is in decent shape for its age. All the plastic is intact and is not chipped/cracked. It is has been yellowed over the years due to its age and exposure. It does have many scuffs, scratches, and stains all around the plastic and metal. Some of the plastic front covers bulge out from time to time however the plastic clips inside are not broke. This machine came from an unkept storage unit and I have carefully cleaned this machine inside and out. The metal shields have been rusted a bit. The speaker plays sound clear and loud. The power switch has been disassembled and cleaned to provide better contact and springiness. The power supply has not been recapped but has had voltage tested and cleaned throughly. The floppy disk drive has been tested to read/write/format. Its old grimy eject gear has been replaced with a new 3D printed one. The stock hard drive has been replaced with a BlueSCSI sporting 3.5GB of space. The SD has been loaded with System 8.1 and many applications! The motherboard is very clean for its age. The PRAM battery has been replaced with a new custom 2032 battery cell one and the machine keeps track of time. The memory has been completely maxed out with four 32MB sticks of RAM, totaling up to 136MB combined with the onboard memory. The VRAM has been outfitted with two sticks.
