Description: A lovely antique Victorian ring featuring an oval black sapphire cabochon surrounded by a halo of quartz settings. I would call the cabochon a star sapphire but though it has a light within that appears to move around, there are no star rays. It is stamped 14k & there is a hallmark on the other side but I can’t make it out. The gallery is ornate open work. It is size 6.25 and weighs 3.1 grams. The setting measures about 12mm c 10mm. It is in great condition though it would benefit from a good polish, getting crevices that I can’t. **The ring pictured is a photo prop & is not included**
