Description: Handmade hand sewn friendship shoo fly pattern quilt from the 1950s. It is tied. No stains but some wearing of the fabric and one quarter size hole. Please see photos. It may look there is leeching of fabric dye into the pink but the inside batting is actually an old blue blanket. You can see it where the hole is. It’s a lovely example of a friendship quilt. I didn’t take pictures of all the names. It measures 81x64” Not all show dates and two have NY embroidered in as well. The stitching is very tight in most places which is why I think this held up so well over the past 70 years. It does not look that old!
