Description: George and Sam Barris created American Kustom and are the hallmark of custom cars, creating some of the most iconic custom cars in Hollywood (Batmobile). Sam Barris was the first person to lower the 1949 Mercury to create the infamous low profile. Sam Barris died in 1962. In 2001 George Barris and a team of customizers created "The Rose" as a tribute to Sam Barris and a fundraiser for cancer research. This T-shirt is from The Rose's tour and a part of custom hot rod, car collector history. In that spirit, we've marked this listing for 100% to go to The American Cancer Society. Extremely rare.
