Description: This vintage McGruff the Crime Dog plush toy from 1981 is a must-have for any collector or fan of the iconic character. Produced by R. Dakin & Co., Mcgruff the Crime Dog became popular in the 80s to teach kids about the law and how to stay safe. He had a slogan, "Take a Bite Outta Crime." The plush is 10" tall and is in really good condition for its age. The jacket has no rips or tears, and the tush tag is in great shape as well. The only flaw is that the left side of mcgruffs 'jowels' is a bit creased and it dosen't lay right, when you get him you'll see what I mean, it's hard to see in the pictures, but look at the left side and then the right, you may see the differnce. **With plushies, I like to use weather proof poly mailers to save a few bucks on shipping for the buyer.
