Description: One pair of Sears Royal Purple brand Hosiery, (stocking, hose), size 9 1/2, in its original unopened package sold exclusively by Sears Roebuck and Co. These are Seamed "service weight" stockings, the color is Taupette (looks to be dark brown), length of the stocking is said to be 31 inches, it is 51 gauge, 80 denier and is made of 68% nylon and 32% cotton. They are full fashion, with a cotton comfort sole and cotton stretch top. It also says they are run proof afterwelt and toe ring (whatever that means!).Package is undated but based on the hair style of the woman pictured on the front of the package and her clothes, and the fact that they are seamed stockings, my guess is that this item is from the 1960's. Package measures 9" x 7". Package is unopened in brand new condition-no problems to point out. There is one other ebay seller with this same package, but my total price is less.Item will be mailed without mail tracking to help save the buyer some money on unnecessary postal costs.
