Description: This is a classic deadstock example of the Vietnam-era M-1965, or M65, US Army field jacket, from 1972 in a size Small, Regular. The jacket features a collapsible self-stowing hood, zip and button closure, four front cargo pockets, as well as drawstrings at the hem and waist for easy adjustment. The jacket is made of a mid-weight cotton canvas fabric in the iconic olive green shade OG-107. This particular 1972-incarnation of the jacket was manufactured by So-Sew Styles Inc. Dense, unwashed ink stamp on the inside right hem. No liner jacket included. Please check the measurements below before purchasing. Although it is marked as a size 'Small, Regular' this jacket was meant to be worn on top of a large number of layers, and thus fits slightly larger than you might expect. I've found it to wear close to a 38R, in modern sizing. Also note: this jacket has a secondary layer built into it's construction that makes the chest measurement slightly inaccurate, so it should wear approximately ~0.5in smaller than the 21in marked below. Measurements:Chest (pit-to-pit): 21 in* Shoulders: 19 in Hem: 23.5 in Length: 34 in Sleeve Length: 25 in Deadstock, NOS condition. Seemingly unworn and unissued. One small pen mark on the neck specification tag, and a few spots of dirt on the left shoulder from storage. Everything else present and in excellent condition. See photos for more details. Sold as-is. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to request more photos. Thanks!
