Description: W2ENY headset w/mic - this connects directly to your Icom's 8 pin round mic jack. You get the headset with boom mic, has about 6 ft of shielded cable and 1/8" PTT jack (wired tip and sleeve). The top part is so flexible and has earpieces that pull out to fit you (see pics) There is NO adapter needed like in my other listings, this plugs directly into Icom Mic connector for MIC and Headphone audio. This works great, ready to plug and go with your Icom radio, features an electret mic element for great sound with nice audio. You will get excellent 'ON AIR' audio reports. Mic can go on your left or right side. Works on VOX or using your PTT hand or foot switch (please see those that are available in my other listings) To keep the cost down, PTT hand or Foot Switch are sold separately (PTT pigtail jack is included in this at the Mic plug). Icom - 718, 725, 726, 728, 729, 736, 737, 738, 746, 746 PRO, 756, 756 PRO (I, II, III), 761, 765, 775, 781, 820, 821, 970, 7200, 7300, 7410, 7600, 7610, 7700, 7800, 9700. ALSO - Headphone audio comes from pin 8 of the mic jack, so the speaker will keep working unless you plug a blank plug in the phones/speaker jack to cut it off. This setup will only work with Icom, it has speaker level audio on the mic jack. Other radios do not, please don't ask.
