They are plastic and even when they are new out of the box an item may be loose and/or a weapon or two may need a spot of glue for a quick repair. If I see something loose or dangling from the sprue I may, at my discretion, place those items in a baggie so that they don't get lost. They have never been primed or intentionally removed from the sprue. The pictures above show the box for reference and the actual sprue that you will receive. Assemble your army!
