Description: We're Going Home is a vintage 1927 Philip R. Goodwin print. This print is sometimes titled Uninvited Guest. The confusion most likely is because both "We're Going Home" and "Uninvited Guest" have similar subjects (mama bear and cubs at a camp) and were produced by Philip Goodwin for the Brown & Bigelow calendar company in 1925. Notice the advertising on the overturned box of supplies. It reads "From Hisey Bros. Bryn Mawr, Wash. Supplies". The Hisey family were Bryn Mawr pioneers. We're Going Home features a mama bear and her cubs fleeing a skunk at a camp site as two sportsmen appear in a canoe. It is 8 11/16" x 11 3/4" in overall size and 8 1/8" x 11 1/4" in image size and is in good condition. There are numerous wrinkles and increases in the upper and lower right corner. Please use the included photos as a condition guide. Chuck Olson CollectionChuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints. He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960. Chuck amassed a collection of well over 10,000 framed and unframed prints before his death. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the item.
