Created to plan the events of the 1942 short The Loan Stranger, these three 6.5" x 6.25" storyboards present 5.5" x 4" panels, each displaying fantastic images of Walter Lantz's emblematic character crashing into a pole and then promptly re-assembling the car with help of a little rope, as seen at the 0:34 mark of the cartoon. Numbered 5, 7, and 8 on the top left corner, these three storyboards are done in graphite and colored pencil, displaying production notes on storyboards 5 and 8 and sound effects on 7. Storyboard 5 has a cup stain on the lower area. The three storyboards show pinholes in the corners. The overall condition is Very Good, with light handling and edge wear from production.
