Description: FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A M1912 OFFICERS MOUNTED PISTOL BELTFIELD MODIFIED The pistol belt was acquired in an auction and is a one of kind type find. The pistol belt is of the M1912 model whichfeatures the traditional grommet holes that run along the length of the belt in three rows with the top and bottom holes being slightly larger than the middle (second) row and had brass buckles and brass keepers. This belt also features the distinctive markings of a mounted officers belt due to the brass sabre ring located on the lower left side of the belt. The belt was modified in the field to includefour pouches for M-1917 Revolver half moon clips. For being 100 years old, this pistol belt is in incredible condition and does how wear from use; however, none of this distracts or takes away from the quality and collectability of the belt. All grommets, stitching, brass fittings and buckles are in amazing shape.The belt is not marked at all but does have the brass clasp and clasp loop indicative of World War One pistol belt.
