Description: WWII EGW fighting, combat knife. Generally privately purchased by the Soldier for the well crafted and durability of such a versatile knife. Blade length is 6 3/8" that looks to have been poorly sharpened. The two piece wooden grip has been repaired very well and is tight and solid with no movement. The finger guard half of the grip looks to have been cracked and glued back. The steel blade has clear markings but scratches and a bad attempt to sharpen needs to be improved. Overall a fine example of a US used knife during the conflict and would be wonderful to add to a collection just the way it is. No sheath with this purchase.
