Original paint, original finish, original strap, OD7 on T-1 System (1945) . Helmet has name and service number in the crown., written in pencil "LEHR 33989228" and the last four are inked inside the shell in two different areas. Liner, Original paint, some contact marks, and cannot say that this was the original liner for this shell, some scuffs and missing paint, some nicks and a couple of very small chips., some rub marks, Blackened Brass A washers., one is slightly bent on Westinghouse 10 marked Liner., some slight wear to od 3 webbing of liner, in one spot appears a name but not legible, no nape strap installed. No Headband, No Liner Chinstrap. Shell is hi- excellent and a few marks from handling, and storage dust. Excellent Original late war Helmet., issued during the war.
